The Two Oceans Marathon (TOM) NPC hereby invites community outreach, charitable and philanthropic organisations to apply for funding as part of the annual Beneficiary support programme, run under the auspices of the Two Oceans Marathon Initiative (TOMI).

As the philanthropic arm of the Two Oceans Marathon, TOMI will receive and evaluate applications for funding for projects aligning with its four social impact pillars:

  1. Education
  2. Environmental Sustainability
  3. Health and Wellness, and
  4. Athletics Development.

This R223 249 in available funding has been made possible by direct donations to TOMI from runners who took part in the Totalsports Two Oceans Marathon 2024 event, at the time of entering TTOM 2024.

A further cumulative amount of R2 410 187 was raised on GivenGain during TTOM 2024, exceeding the R2 Million for Good Causes TOMI target. These funds have already been paid to the 65 charities chosen to receive the 2 075 donations from 1 894 donors on the GivenGain platform.
